Andrew O’Neill
Andrew is a Kauffman Fellow (class 26) responsible for sourcing new deals, leading due diligence, and advising portfolio companies. He also manages Act's platform and guides strategy across the portfolio to support growth.
He holds a BA in History & Politics from UCD, executive qualifications in Finance from Trinity Business School, and a Venture Capital qualification from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Andrew's investments include Ubotica, Lative, Greyscout, Playter (acquired by LSE:SHAW), Mavarick AI, and Micron Agritech, alongside a number of other portfolio companies he actively supports.
Before joining Act, Andrew was a founder in the retail and martech industries, an experience that gave him some insight into the challenges founders face, and shapes how he supports the companies he now backs.
In a previous life, Andrew sailed the world, deep-sea fishing and diving along the way. These days he's more likely to be found out on the bike or refining his cooking skills.
