Mairead Roche

Mairead is responsible for sourcing new deals, due diligence and monitoring of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Act, Mairead worked in the Investment teams at Ireland’s development agency (Enterprise Ireland) and Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF). Mairead has also worked in Deloitte’s Corporate Finance division, as part of the M&A Transaction Services team.
Mairead is an ACA Chartered Accountant, and a graduate of both University College Cork (Undergraduate) and University College Dublin (Masters). She also most recently completed a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence from UCD.
In younger years, Mairead was heavily involved in music – teaching kids and adults violin and piano along with hustling for gigs as part of different music groups! Mairead has played at festivals of culture in the Netherlands, France, Bulgaria, Wales and Hungary. Mairead was also part of the National Folk Orchestra of Ireland that toured Ireland and London with performances marking seminal moments in Irish history.
Today, Mairead likes to challenge herself with new pieces of music to try out just for fun whilst also keeping active with her local running club!
